The promoters of Future Music and Goodlife Festival have announced that both events will be returning bigger and better than ever in 2014, following recent media reports relating to the liquidation of Future Entertainment – the parent company of Future Music.

Last week, it was announced that Summadayze festival would not be going ahead, after Future Entertainment forged a partnership with Mushroom Group to present the flagship Future Music event (via Tone Deaf).

Mushroom’s Michael Gudinski recently spoke to The Age about the future of the festivals, explaining: “We’ve got a massive job ahead with the Future Music Festival. We want to make it a much better experience for the people who are going. We’re looking long term.”

Mushroom have described the 2014 Future Music lineup as “one of the biggest yet,” and all is set to be revealed at a launch event next Tuesday September 17 in Sydney.
